A board-certified family physician, Dr. Syed is affiliated with Optum Primary Care in Plainview, New York. With a strong commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Syed is dedicated to improving health outcomes in the community through both preventive measures and comprehensive disease management.

 A native of Long Island, New York, he earned his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University before pursuing his medical degree at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency training at SOVAH-Health Danville in Virginia, where he honed his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions.

With expertise in managing chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and obesity, Dr. Syed is well-equipped to support patients in achieving their health goals. His approach prioritizes prevention, recognizing that proactive measures can significantly enhance overall well-being. Additionally, he has experience addressing various health concerns, including sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), ensuring that his patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.
