Has the Congressional Lupus Caucus Made Any Progress?

The Alliance for Lupus Research is just one organization constantly fighting for a cure.

The Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR), a voluntary health organization dedicated to finding treatments and curing systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has been fighting for decades for more funding for lupus from Congress. They have consistently channeled more than $13 million into lupus research since the beginning of the program. The Alliance, however, applauds the Congressional Lupus Caucus for their fight for those with lupus.

The ALR uses donations fund any administrative and fundraising costs of the organization. All of the proceeds that it earns from fundraising through programs like "Walk with Us to Cure Lupus" go directly to research.
