Making a few simple changes to one's daily life can significantly increase the quality of life for a caregiver. Keeping oneself as healthy as possible is the key to being a successful caregiver. Don’t skip out on eating well or working out because of being too busy.  It doesn’t take much time to go for a quick walk to clear the head and stretch the legs.  Just 20 minutes a day of brisk walking can be one of the most beneficial activities that someone can do - especially those who often find themselves in a stressful situation such as caring for a loved who is battling a disease like Parkinson's.
