Can a toothache last for months?
A toothache will last until it is fixed. But that all depends on where the pain is coming from. If it is a cavity it won’t resolve it’ll only get worse. If it is past a cavity and now is infected it will continue to worsen until there is no longer pain is the nerve days but then you’re in more trouble. Quick question for you why don’t you just go to the dentist? Dr Jensen READ MORE

Does lemon kill bacteria in the mouth?
No, lemon will not kill the bacteria in your mouth. It will just make your mouth taste a little lemony. You need to use something that is an antiseptic. For example, Listerine or a product similar to Listerine. There are other products available that will kill the bacteria in your mouth, or at least help control them anyways. But unfortunately, lemon is not one of them, it just makes your water taste a lot better. Dr. Jensen READ MORE
What home remedy kills bacteria in teeth?
First of all you, don’t want to kill all the bacteria in your mouth. There are bad bacteria that are harmful and cause oral disease. But there are also good bacteria that are essential at keeping your oral health balance. The best home remedy that I am aware of is to use over-the-counter Listerine. It has been shown to destroy many of the bad bacteria that causes the diseases, cavities, and plaque buildup. There are prescriptions that you can get from your dentist that will do close to the same job. Brushing your teeth with the fluoridated toothpaste will also destroy many of the bad bacteria. I know a lot of people are against fluoride. But that’s because they don’t have a good understanding of what fluoride is. It’s not toxic or poisonous and it won’t make you grow a third head. Without fluoride, there would be no existing life on earth. It is very good to use and safe to use. So, using a combination of toothbrushing with fluoride followed by a 30-60 sec rinse of Listerine and floss is the best way to prevent come disease, bone disease, plaque buildup, and the distraction of harmful bacteria. Most home remedies like lemon, essential oils, and other things that people make up do not work. I’d recommend sticking to known proven science. Speak with your dentist as well, that’s also very helpful with a nice personal conversation. Dr. J READ MORE
