    I cannot see the EKG well (bad resolution) so cannot make a diagnosis. You should always seek immediate medical attention for chest pain or chest pressure lasting more than 5-10min. This looks like SVT but hard to tell for sure. please see an MD for this soon. READ MORE

    It depends on which type of scan/protocol was done. Some "heart scans" can pick up plaque, others only calcium in the arteries. You should discuss this further with your cardiologist, especially if this is an out of pocket expense for you. READ MORE

Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Marie France Poulin, who serves patients in Massachusetts. 

Dr. Poulin is an adult structural and congenital heart disease interventionist working within the CardioVascular Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). Namely, she is the Associate Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, and the Associate Director of Structural Heart Clinical Services.

Graduating with her medical degree from Laval University in Canada, Dr. Poulin went on to perform her internship/residency at St. Peter’s University Hospital. She then went on to further her training with fellowships at Rush University Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Maintaining the highest level certifications in her field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
