Tosin Addeh, CCRN, CIPP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

My name is Tosin Addeh, I have being in the Medial Field for more than a decade going close to 2 decades, 17 years to be precise. I currently practice as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in Oregon. My dedication to holistic care of the entire person allowed me to gain an adititonal certification knowledge as a Certified Intergrative Psychiatric Provider (CIPP). As a mental health nurse practitioner, my treatment approach are of two face; non-pharmacological and pharmacologial. Years ago when I first experienced anxiety and panic attacks, I was amazed at the different holistic treatment plan that was out there. I was able to seek resolution for my discomfort. What I came to understand is, when a person mental health symptoms are mild to moderate, diet changes and supplement can have huge impact in symptoms control and resolution. However, if these symptoms are severe, it is important to enlist the use of a pharmacological aproach which is best for stabilization and then taper off to a holistic health maintenace apraoch. Over the years, I have worked in several health care setting and meeting new people is always interesting to me. My desire as a practitioner is that my patients are provided with the information they need to stay healthy mentally and physically and this is possbile by educating and offereing serves that will build my clients in their goal to self healing.

Fun fact about me is that, I enjoy lecturing women about their health and body, that's becasue, a healthy body is a healthy mind. Tosin holds an active license to practice, and continues to take an all-encompassing role in supporting a patient's wellbeing.

At Ascent Healthcare, I provide medication managment for adult and geriatric patient living in nursing homes, assisted living facility, memory care home, Intermediate care facilities and skilled nursing facility. My self and my team ensures that these patient do not have a barieer in having their mental health needs met, expecially when they have some limiting physical abilities that prevent them from living their residence. This way they are cared for at their residence and this reduce the burden on the client and their care givers.
